The Technology segment is responsible for the group’s core technology systems. Its objective is to develop, deploy and support the technology platforms across the group and at a number of third-party partners. The group’s infrastructure connects into some of South Africa’s major banks, utility companies and telecommunication operators. This segment also switches both debit and credit card electronic funds transfer (EFT) transactions and e-token products for some of the country’s leading retailers and petroleum companies.
